Requirements
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategic partnerships, alliance management, business development, or enterprise strategy.
- Extensive experience leading complex, enterprise-critical partnerships spanning multiple functions and global geographies.
- Demonstrated experience working at an executive leadership level with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of evolving partnerships toward value creation, co-innovation, and governance development.
- Strong enterprise leadership mindset with the ability to shape long-term outcomes through strategic partnerships.
- Proven ability to act as an integrator, connecting people, capabilities, and ideas around shared objectives.
- Strong influencing skills, with a track record of driving decisions without relying on formal authority.
- Executive presence and comfort operating through ambiguity and organizational change.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management capabilities in matrixed organizations.
- Advanced degree preferred (Master’s or PhD) in life sciences, medicine, engineering, or business.
- Background in biopharma, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior enterprise-level lead for the global strategic partnership, ensuring a consistent, aligned approach across clinical, digital, GPS, quality, and commercial interactions.
- Represent the organization as a strategic partner while reducing fragmentation, resolving conflicting priorities, and reinforcing transparent partnering practices.
- Partner with the Breakthrough Partner Lead to align alliance strategy, governance, and priorities with enterprise objectives.
- Establish effective decision rights, escalation pathways, leadership cadences, and executive governance mechanisms.
- Develop and evolve the multi-year alliance strategy and enterprise value narrative to ensure measurable impact.
- Translate contractual arrangements into scalable operating models by understanding partner capabilities in data, technology, and clinical operations.
- Identify and prioritize innovation opportunities and new partnership models that advance strategic business priorities.
- Guide teams in transitioning from transactional engagement toward co-creation and enterprise value generation.
