Requirements
- Seven years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Five years of experience developing automation frameworks using Java and Selenium or comparable technologies.
- Five years of experience designing or enhancing automation frameworks using object-oriented design principles.
- Three years of experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Five years of experience writing SQL queries and performing database validation.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Proficiency in automated API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#).
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Quality Center.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure Pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modernize enterprise automation frameworks to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership for automation architecture, framework design, and coding standards within the DevOps team.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA staff to define automation strategies and reusable test assets.
- Execute and maintain functional, system integration, API, and regression automation suites.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
- Mentor automation engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and knowledge transfer.
- Develop SQL queries and perform database validation to support testing and troubleshooting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and defect triage.
