Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience (7+ years preferred).
- Full-stack development experience: REST APIs, backend, DB modeling, CI/CD, Web UX/UI, HTML/CSS.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript and React.
- Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Expertise in Linux server environments and Bash shell scripting.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Docker Swarm) and distributed systems.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, DocumentDB).
- Fluency in automated testing and unit testing frameworks (Chai, Mocha).
- Must have an OSS repository demonstrating skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems management, or equivalent field experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production-grade systems end-to-end including frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Own technical decisions on architecture, cloud topology, observability, deployment, and security.
- Write secure, resilient, well-tested code and perform code reviews.
- Debug production incidents, performance regressions, and distributed system issues.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical ideas.
- Mentor teammates and serve as a technical resource.
- Research new technologies and contribute to team process improvements.
- Provide effort estimates and technical scope for new opportunities.
