Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering roles.
- Deep proficiency in testing TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend ecosystems (React, Webpack, or similar).
- Expert-level experience with Playwright or comparable browser automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium WebDriver).
- Strong experience with unit and component testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or React Testing Library.
- Proven track record of designing and building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Buildkite, Gitlab or similar).
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
- Hands-on experience with Allure or similar test reporting/analytics platforms.
- Understanding of AI/ML-powered products and associated testing challenges.
- Familiarity with performance/load testing (k6, Lighthouse) and visual regression testing (Percy, Chromatic).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
Responsibilities
- Define and execute test strategies across UI, API, and service layers to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Develop and maintain reliable automation frameworks and performance testing suites.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows to accelerate testing and debugging cycles.
- Lead risk assessments, release validations, and root-cause analyses for critical issues.
- Implement shift-left practices and enforce quality gates within development teams.
