Requirements
- MA/MS degree with 15+ years of relevant experience (additional equivalent experience may substitute for the degree).
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance.
- One of the following certifications: Security+/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CCGRC/CAP, or Cloud+.
- Reside within commutable distance of Washington, DC metro area facilities.
- Extensive experience supporting cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Security Engineering in DoD environments.
- Extensive experience implementing and supporting DoD RMF processes and controls.
- Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining eMASS/RMF authorization packages.
- Hands-on experience with tools including ESS, ACAS, COAMS, CMRS, STIG Viewer, and STIG/SRRs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, or VMware infrastructure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior cybersecurity SME supporting systems and capabilities.
- Support implementation and execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities and maintenance of system authorization packages.
- Monitor cybersecurity posture, vulnerabilities, findings, and remediation activities.
- Analyze cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities and develop recommendations and courses of action.
- Develop, review, and maintain RMF artifacts and cybersecurity documentation.
- Support vulnerability, incident, and change management along with audit and compliance.
- Monitor and support completion and maintenance of eMASS packages.
- Review and analyze STIG/SRR findings and support remediation activities.
- Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and Government stakeholders.
