Requirements
- Expert clinical knowledge in quality auditing of inpatient medical records.
- Demonstrated experience in the validation of provider-billed DRG codes.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for team meetings and client engagements.
- Completion of a coding/auditing assessment during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Oversee work performed by clinical auditors to ensure company standards of accuracy are met.
- Conduct quality reviews of both random and targeted clinical audits.
- Apply clinical expertise to audit inpatient medical records.
- Confirm the appropriate validation of provider-billed DRG codes.
- Participate in team meetings and limited client onsite engagements as required.
