Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing organic social or community strategy, with a heavy emphasis on Reddit.
- Deep understanding of subreddit dynamics, karma, automods, and shadowbans.
- Experience in consumer tech, fintech, or insurtech preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to write naturally for a Reddit audience without corporate-speak.
- Strong understanding of how Reddit content feeds into search engines and LLMs.
- Ability to maintain long-term trust through educational content rather than quick conversion pushes.
- Thick-skinned and empathetic approach to handling skepticism or tough questions in public threads.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Own Jerry’s official presence across Reddit, including brand-owned subreddits and organic engagement in broader automotive, financial, and consumer communities.
- Establish Jerry’s Reddit voice by determining when to provide technical advice or share memes.
- Craft informative text posts, guides, and visual content tailored to specific subreddit cultures.
- Act as the first line of defense for brand reputation by managing discussions transparently.
- Track metrics including Karma growth, sentiment, referral traffic, and influence on search indexability.
- Feed organic insights and emerging car-owner pain points back to Product and Content teams.
