Requirements
- 2+ years managing organic social or community strategy, with a heavy emphasis on Reddit.
- Deep understanding of Reddit dynamics including karma, subreddit rules, automods, and shadowbans.
- Ability to write naturally for Redditors and avoid corporate-speak.
- Experience within consumer tech, fintech, or insurtech preferred.
- Understanding of how Reddit content feeds into search indexability, Google SGE, and LLMs.
- Demonstrated ability to build brand equity through trust and high-value educational content.
- Capacity to handle public pushback and tough questions with grace and honesty.
- Must be able to work as a full-time employee and reside in specified eligible states or Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Own Jerry's official presence across Reddit, including brand-owned subreddits and organic engagement in broader communities.
- Establish Jerry's Reddit voice by determining optimal times for advice, memes, or observation.
- Craft high-effort, informative text posts, deep-dive guides, and visual breakdowns on car ownership, insurance, and maintenance.
- Manage brand reputation by acting as the first line of defense in threads discussing Jerry to build trust.
- Track key metrics including Karma growth, thread sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, and SEO impact.
- Provide organic Reddit insights and trending topics to Product and Content teams.
