- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine
- Active board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
- Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states preferred
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
- Solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers
- Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems
- Reliable high-speed internet access
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions
- Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Handle referrals and prior authorizations
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Serve as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, and mentorship
