Requirements
- Demonstrated experience of 3+ full end-to-end Adobe Journey Optimizer implementations.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Proficiency with JSON and XML.
- Experience in data modeling and working with AEP/CDP.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing execution, audience segmentation, and legal compliance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with both technical staff and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related business/technology field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a client-facing role (2+ years preferred).
- Adobe Journey Optimizer certification preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, RTCDP, and CJA strongly preferred.
- Experience/familiarity with HTML, MJML, and CSS a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary platform expert for Adobe Journey Optimizer, advising on architecture, governance, and best practices.
- Lead discovery efforts to gather business needs and solution requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for configuration, data schemas, and system integrations.
- Partner with AEP/CDP Architects and Engineers to implement XDM schemas, data ingestion, and event pipelines.
- Lead platform configuration and development of digital marketing campaigns across channels (email, SMS, push, in-app).
- Manage user roles and permissions in AJO for proper access control.
- Oversee development, testing, and deployment of platform work.
- Create and present Architecture and Technical specifications documents.
- Serve as day-to-day technical platform SME to internal and client teams.
- Oversee system health and maintenance protocols to ensure compliance.
