Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with HPC programming, job scheduling, compilers, and performance libraries.
- Strong programming experience in C++, Fortran, Python, Java, or MATLAB.
- Proven expertise with Linux and Bash scripting.
- Experience with HPC infrastructure, resource managers, and data transfer tools.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker and Singularity.
- Familiarity with public cloud HPC and AI offerings, specifically GCP.
- Experience with GPU technologies and parallel programming models (MPI, OpenMP, CUDA).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced computational consultation to researchers to solve technical problems and optimize workflows.
- Advise on system configurations, development practices, and performance optimization.
- Design, build, test, and deploy new research computing services.
- Conduct technical training sessions and create documentation for users.
- Maintain system health and support infrastructure, including CPU/GPU resources and cloud services.
