Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Manual QA.
- Experience testing web-based applications and performing cross-browser functional testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and reporting applications.
- Ability to create comprehensive manual test documentation (test plans, cases, scripts, scenarios).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of BDD-style acceptance criteria and test scenario writing.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to adapt under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Experience working in an Agile team (desirable).
- Ability to work on both PC and Mac (desirable).
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (desirable).
- Degree level education (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Test web applications against requirements across desktop browsers and mobile devices.
- Record, monitor, and manage defects to ensure traceability and timely resolution.
- Create and maintain manual test documentation, including test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and participate in defect triage.
- Track test progress against release schedules and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
- Review test environments and coverage to support continuous process improvement.
- Provide accurate estimates for manual testing efforts to support project planning.
