Requirements
- Professional experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Experience within tactical communications, wireless technology, defense, or public safety industries.
- Knowledge of tactical communications, including MANET ecosystems, RF networking, and wireless network integration.
- Understanding of regional procurement cycles, public safety funding, or defense acquisition processes.
- Experience working with distributor, reseller, or channel partner networks.
- Ability to independently cultivate long-term relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn market data into recommendations.
- Proficiency in English and relevant regional languages.
- Completion of secondary or post-secondary education in business, engineering, or communications.
- Willingness to travel extensively (expected to exceed 50% of working time).
- Ability to work independently across geographically distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the complete sales lifecycle from qualification and proposal development through contract negotiation and closing.
- Monitor and support regional partners and channel networks while identifying new potential distributors and resellers.
- Enable partners through product training, demonstrations, and technical readiness.
- Analyze regional market conditions, procurement timelines, and customer demand to inform strategy and forecasting.
- Synthesize market intelligence on customer needs, competitive positioning, and commercial opportunities.
- Build data-driven insights and communicate them to leadership using reporting tools.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations to align development with market requirements.
- Represent the organization at regional trade shows, industry events, and executive engagements.
- Coordinate executive and technical visits throughout the territory.
