Job Details

ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) is required.
FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) achievement or progress is preferred.
Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a similar quantitative field.
Typically 4 to 7 years of actuarial experience.
Knowledge of life insurance valuation principles and actuarial business functions.
Experience with life insurance products and Statutory or GAAP valuation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including VBA within Access and Excel.
Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
Familiarity with actuarial modeling software such as AXIS, ALFA, or PolySystems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Apply actuarial knowledge to life insurance valuation activities for life products.
Support the implementation and analysis of evolving standards, including Long-Duration Targeted Improvements (LDTI) and Principle-Based Reserving (PBR).
Prepare, analyze, and explain results for assigned monthly and quarterly valuation deliverables.
Develop and enhance tools used to validate and analyze valuation results.
Collaborate with Tax, Controllership, Pricing, and other stakeholders to support business objectives.
Follow established process controls, documentation, and governance requirements.
Assist with responses to auditor and regulator inquiries by providing accurate, well-supported analysis.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives involving actuarial data, modeling, assumptions, product development, analytics, and reporting.
