Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
- 13+ years of experience developing software in Java and related technologies.
- Deep expertise in Java, React, Node.js, and Python.
- Experience with AWS or a similar cloud provider.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with AI-driven development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
- Professional experience guiding and mentoring other engineers.
- Demonstrated superior knowledge of software design and architecture.
- Experience writing unit tests and automating website testing.
- Experience implementing application performance monitoring solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based website architecture, functionality, and API integrations.
- Build reusable software components for interfacing with front-end platforms.
- Monitor and research emerging technologies, external platforms, and consumer behavior to discover innovation opportunities.
- Ensure the health of supported applications and triage issues as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership and product management to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for user security, data privacy, accessibility, and core web vitals.
- Provide hands-on coding, participate in design discussions, and conduct code reviews.
- Mentor and guide other engineers within the team.
