Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience in journalism, publishing, multimedia distribution, digital publishing, and communications.
- Master’s degree (terminal degree preferred) with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong social media skills.
- Experience with public speaking, presenting, and designing presentations.
- Prior teaching experience, both online and on-campus.
- Experience using screen-capture software for recording voice and screen.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
Responsibilities
- Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills and maintain a student-centered focus.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to encourage active learning.
- Hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses.
- Interact positively with diverse student populations and provide equal learning opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan.
- Adhere to university policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
