Job Details

Deep experience building backend applications and owning complex production systems at Staff-level scope.
Strong Python skills and comfort working across TypeScript and Go.
Experience designing and operating distributed systems and large-scale data ingestion pipelines.
Deep understanding of tradeoffs between reliability, performance, and scale.
Proven experience building monitoring and observability systems for production health.
Confidence working with message queues, background jobs, and task orchestration tools (e.g., Celery, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production services in AWS.
Ability to turn ambiguous problems into technical roadmaps and align engineers across teams.
Experience writing pragmatic, maintainable code and taking ownership of system health.

Build and evolve the monitoring and observability platform for hundreds of thousands of desktop and browser extension installations.
Define and improve signals measuring recorder reliability, data capture health, and Agentic Workflow Mapping system availability.
Own and evolve backend ingestion services connecting data capture to processing and AI pipelines with a focus on scale and performance.
Improve background-job reliability and task orchestration to ensure data flows dependably through the platform.
Design, deploy, and operate production services in AWS while using observability to troubleshoot bottlenecks and failures.
Set technical direction and the feature/reliability roadmap for the Workflow Mapping client platform.
Lead cross-team technical work, clarify ownership, and set high standards for scalable architecture.
