Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Deep experience designing and evolving large-scale, distributed, high-performance systems.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Rust, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with .NET full-stack and API development (preferred).
- Experience with distributed architectures, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep.
- Experience with authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
- Strong understanding of testing strategies, CI/CD, observability, and reliability engineering.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
- Currently based in Pune or willing to relocate to Pune.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of large-scale systems and distributed architectures.
- Define and guide technical vision and strategy across multiple teams.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to influence technical priorities and roadmap decisions.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Lead technical-debt reduction and modernization initiatives, including re-platforming strategies.
- Drive observability, monitoring, incident response, and reliability engineering improvements.
- Identify opportunities to adopt AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering velocity.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
