Requirements
- 5+ years as a software engineer with demonstrable fullstack delivery experience in production environments.
- Deep understanding of software fundamentals including reading stack traces, reasoning about query plans, and debugging race conditions.
- Daily, hands-on experience using agentic developer tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor agent mode) to ship real features.
- Generalist instinct with comfort jumping between Vue, Python, SQL, and infrastructure layers.
- Strong database and systems knowledge including schema design, indexing, and distributed system tradeoffs.
- Startup mindset: pragmatic, fast, biased toward shipping, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and customers.
- Ownership mentality to take features from idea to production with high judgment on quality.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of features from refining tickets to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Operate AI coding agents like Claude Code to scope work, structure context, and ship production-quality output.
- Move fluidly across the stack including TypeScript/Vue (frontend), Python (backend), SQL, and data modeling.
- Collaborate in a squad model with PMs, designers, and engineers during 2-week sprints.
- Design scalable schemas, queries, and APIs while maintaining system performance and reliability.
- Spend time with customers onsite periodically to observe warehouse and sales operations.
