Requirements
- At least 5 years of current relevant experience in quality assurance/testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science.
- Proven experience with Java application testing.
- Proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber, and FitNesse.
- Strong background in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with automated testing processes, 508 accessibility testing, functional testing, integration testing, full regression testing, and cybersecurity testing.
- Basic understanding of Java coding.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and design test plans.
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Appian application testing is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Interpret requirements, write quality control protocols, and develop user acceptance test plans.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
- Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures.
- Write, implement, and report the status of system test cases.
- Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.
- Serve as a subject matter specialist for testing in support of complex software/hardware applications.
- Direct and participate in risk management assessments and software/hardware development lifecycles.
