Requirements
- Senior-level experience independently owning a distributed, remote-first IT environment.
- Hands-on experience administering MDM platforms (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, Hexnode).
- Expertise in Apple hardware and macOS administration.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management tools, specifically Okta.
- Experience building or maturing security and compliance controls for ISO 27001.
- Ability to execute security initiatives, including vulnerability remediation and access reviews.
- Proven track record of automating manual IT workflows through scripting.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI-based coding tools like Claude Code.
- Experience managing IT vendor relationships and technology procurement processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own IT and business systems operations, including endpoint management, identity, and SaaS applications.
- Deliver hands-on technical support and resolve issues at the desktop level.
- Manage device and account lifecycles for onboarding and offboarding.
- Partner with Security to build and maintain access controls, endpoint policies, and ISO 27001 audit trails.
- Execute day-to-day security workstreams such as tooling rollouts and access reviews.
- Build automation and self-service tools to reduce manual ticket volume.
- Administer the Apple-based fleet and manage SaaS vendor relationships and technology spend.
