Requirements
- 4+ years of experience shipping production machine learning systems.
- Experience with search, information retrieval, or recommendation systems.
- Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating transformer models.
- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- Fluency in data orchestration tools such as Spark and Airflow.
- Experience owning a model end-to-end, from problem framing to production rollout.
- Experience designing and running A/B tests to validate model impact.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve the retrieval layer of the search engine for high-performance e-commerce experiences.
- Build and maintain end-to-end visual and multimodal search solutions including image search and visual recommendations.
- Manage a platform of deep learning models used by multiple internal teams.
- Experiment with new architectures and approaches to improve search quality and model performance.
- Design and execute A/B tests on live traffic to validate model improvements.
- Develop ground-truth measurement strategies to track missing search results.
