Requirements
- 7 to 12 years in security architecture with recent cloud platform depth.
- Proven delivery on Azure and/or AWS including IAM, identity governance, encryption, key management, and logging/monitoring.
- Landing zone design experience (subscriptions, network segmentation, baseline policies, cost strategy).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep and Git-based workflows.
- Familiarity with FFIEC expectations, NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Critical Security Controls, and ISO 27001.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra, PIM, and Azure Policy OR AWS Control Tower, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and IAM Access Analyzer.
- Ability to produce evidence-ready documentation for audit and exams.
Responsibilities
- Architect Azure and/or AWS landing zones for financial services with identity, network, data, and logging baselines.
- Enable policy as code, secrets management, and key rotation.
- Map FFIEC and NIST CSF controls to platform capabilities and produce solution patterns for audit verification.
- Implement monitoring and detection using cloud-native telemetry into SIEM.
- Tune security detections and dashboards to improve coverage, mean time to detect, and mean time to respond.
- Mentor platform and app teams on zero trust, private access, and least privilege designs.
- Run tabletop exercises with audit and risk teams for incident and recovery scenarios.
