Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Knowledge of modern data stack technologies including dbt, Kafka, Spark, and/or Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including Star Schema, Data Vault, relational, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from APIs, databases, logs, and third-party platforms.
- Design, manage, and optimize data warehouses and operational databases to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement data quality frameworks, validation processes, and automated monitoring solutions.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and processing workflows to support growing volumes of data and low-latency requirements.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers to deliver clean, structured datasets and feature stores for machine learning and analytics.
- Enforce data governance standards, security controls, and compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR.
