Requirements
- Solid experience with development, maintenance, or technical analysis of Java applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Java versions from 8 to 21.
- Experience with Java EE/Jakarta EE and/or Spring Boot.
- Proficiency with frameworks including JPA/Hibernate, EJB, JAX-RS, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and monolithic architectures.
- Proficiency with Maven or Gradle and Git.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and transaction management.
- Deep understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code quality analysis, and tools like SonarQube.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, containers, and observability.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical assessments of Java applications evaluating architecture, dependencies, and engineering processes.
- Analyze applications across Java 8 to Java 21 versions to identify risks and evolution opportunities.
- Evaluate architectures built on Java EE/Jakarta EE and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Map application dependencies, database integrations, and build/deploy pipelines.
- Identify technical debt, vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Contribute to defining the strategic direction for applications including modernization, migration, or sunsetting.
- Facilitate technical workshops and interviews with client teams to validate hypotheses.
- Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and analysis reports.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
