Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or technical delivery experience.
- Demonstrated ability to take a scoped requirement and deliver working, production-quality software with limited supervision.
- Hands-on experience with application or backend development.
- Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong fundamentals in at least one primary programming language (Python, Scala, or Java) and SQL.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working within external codebases and adapting to client constraints and standards.
- Willingness to learn the client-facing side of technical consulting.
- Experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Workflows, Unity Catalog) is preferred.
- Experience with production AI or LLM systems like RAG pipelines or agents is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, testing discipline, and infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build production data pipelines, LLM applications, agents, and workflow automations that meet specifications.
- Own implementation decisions and ensure the quality, testing, and reliability of delivered software.
- Turn scoped briefs into working software without requiring constant supervision.
- Participate in architecture reviews, standups, and client working sessions.
- Communicate blockers, risks, and scope changes proactively to senior engineers or architects.
- Write documentation and maintainable code to ensure long-term client operation.
- Engage directly with client engineers and stakeholders.
- Acquire new technical skills and patterns as required by diverse client engagements.
