Requirements
- Hands-on experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or equivalent role.
- Strong software engineering background with ability to build production-quality solutions.
- Proven experience implementing workflow and process automation solutions.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to discover and define problems.
- Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in ambiguous environments without detailed requirements.
- Experience taking solutions from discovery and prototype through production.
- Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work across APIs, integrations, internal tools, and existing production systems.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong ownership, autonomy, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Process Improvement, Product, DevOps, IT, and Security teams to identify workflow and process problems.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical approaches.
- Map existing workflows, including systems, stakeholders, handoffs, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
- Identify opportunities for automation and determine technical intervention feasibility.
- Design, prototype, build, and productionize automation solutions.
- Integrate solutions with existing internal systems, APIs, infrastructure, and product workflows.
- Communicate technical tradeoffs and proposed solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work independently from discovery through implementation.
