Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of IT security and compliance-related experience.
- Security-related certifications such as S+, CEH, or Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud and Microsoft O365.
- Experience with Cortex, Qualys, and DUO 2FA.
- Understanding of IT systems and networking.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Understanding of HIPAA and compliance frameworks like SOC2 and HITRUST.
- Strong project management and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze internal security systems and controls for audit compliance and healthcare regulation adherence.
- Plan and deploy security training and education for employees.
- Liaise with departments to ensure operational security mechanisms function per compliance controls.
- Develop work plans, roadmaps, and manage project schedules and documentation.
- Administer daily, monthly, and annual security compliance tasks.
- Perform quarterly access reviews, collect and store reporting data, and address anomalies.
- Manage third-party vendor procedures and respond to client security questionnaires.
- Monitor real-time and historical reports for security or compliance violations.
