Requirements

  • Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
  • Active medical license in at least one state
  • Competency in practicing within an accredited framework (JCAHO guidelines)
  • Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults
  • Proficiency with computer and live video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype)
  • Experience providing telehealth services in a virtual environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate accurate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage.
  • Utilize proven therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.
  • Foster a collaborative treatment environment, educating families on mental health issues and involving them in care planning.
  • Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions and leverage technology to maintain regular communication with members and families.
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to collaborative care planning, and provide consultative support for comprehensive member care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes and use data analytics to assess outcomes.
