Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, preferably in pain management.
- Hands-on experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Understanding of Windows desktop and Microsoft Office 365/Teams/Excel.
- High-speed internet connection.
- Desktop or laptop computer running Windows or Mac operating systems.
- Dedicated HIPAA-compliant workspace.
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and time management.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Must not use Chromebooks, iPads, or tablets for work.
Responsibilities
- Perform telephonic encounters with patients on behalf of practice partners.
- Complete due diligence measures on 100% of assigned patients.
- Complete billable encounters for 90% of assigned patients each month.
- Abide by the plan of care and orders of the practice.
- Provide prevention and intervention for multiple disease conditions through motivational coaching.
- Document and bill care management episodes accurately using 20-minute units.
- Attend mandatory meetings including bi-monthly staff meetings and monthly one-on-ones.
