Requirements
- Consolidated architectural practices: Clean Architecture, DDD, SOLID, REST API design, and events.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience including Cloud Run/GKE, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (GKE or equivalent).
- Experience building robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or GitLab with a focus on automation and traceability.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot (domain decomposition, synchronous/asynchronous communication, API Gateway, Saga, CQRS).
- Expertise in automated testing strategies including unit, integration, and contract testing (e.g., Pact).
- Strong background in secure development lifecycle practices (SAST/SCA, vulnerability remediation, PenTest support).
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools as part of the professional development process.
- Experience with paywall/digital subscription platforms (e.g., Piano) is a plus.
- Knowledge of e-commerce journeys and in-app purchase integrations is a plus.
- Experience integrating legacy corporate systems like SAP is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, SQS/SNS, S3) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate distributed system architectures considering scalability, security, maintainability, and cost.
- Translate technical decisions into concrete solutions with hands-on involvement from design to deployment.
- Identify technical bottlenecks and replace manual processes with standardized, sustainable solutions.
- Lead automation, observability, and standardization initiatives to improve delivery speed and quality.
- Design and validate integrations between core subscription/e-commerce systems and corporate systems.
- Ensure security practices like SAST/SCA and vulnerability remediation are integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Perform technical and architecture reviews to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Elevate team technical level through design decisions, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to understand needs and provide technical guidance.
- Utilize AI development tools to enhance speed, quality, and technical scope.
