Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, community engagement, or a related technical role.
- Established and demonstrable following or presence within relevant developer or technical communities.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, web scraping, and data extraction.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Python.
- Genuine interest in web data extraction and the technologies surrounding it.
- Passion for working with developers and helping technical audiences learn and solve problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience delivering technical presentations or speaking publicly.
- Proven experience working with developer communities, social media, blogging, or technical content creation.
- Self-motivated and self-reliant, with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative, distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Represent the organization at developer conferences, meetups, community events, podcasts, and webinars.
- Deliver engaging technical talks, workshops, live demonstrations, and panel presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, community leaders, and technology partners.
- Create technical content including tutorials, articles, videos, and code samples.
- Engage with developers across social media, forums, and open-source communities.
- Advocate for developer needs within the marketing, product, and engineering teams.
- Explore emerging workflows like LLM applications and AI agents in the context of web data.
- Identify opportunities to improve and contribute to developer documentation.
