Requirements
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Solid hands-on experience as an ABAP developer on productive SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
- Deep knowledge of ABAP OO, enhancement framework (BAdIs, enhancement spots), CDS views, AMDP, RAP, and OData services.
- Experience with S/4HANA release upgrades, custom code migration, and HANA-optimized coding practices.
- Strong experience with Brazilian localization on SAP (FI/CO, tax developments, NF-e, DRC, SPED).
- Expertise in SAP integration technologies (IDoc, RFC/BAPI, OData, REST) and SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
- Proficiency in performance analysis and tuning (SQL Monitor, ST05, SAT).
- Working knowledge of SAP security applied to custom code, including Code Vulnerability Analyzer and SoD-related controls.
- Experience with SAP transport governance using ChaRM or SAP Cloud ALM.
- Fluent in Portuguese and advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Practical experience in regulated industries (fintech, banking, payments) and compliance frameworks (BACEN, LGPD, SOX).
Responsibilities
- Lead custom code activities for S/4HANA upgrades, including impact analysis, adjustments, and post-upgrade stabilization.
- Define and maintain the SAP development operating model, including coding standards, code review practices, and audit evidence protocols.
- Provide hands-on ABAP development for Brazilian fiscal and regulatory changes, including localization and tax-related developments.
- Design and build end-to-end custom developments, including CDS views, AMDP, OData services, and forms while adhering to clean-core principles.
- Manage custom code quality through ATC, ABAP Unit tests, peer reviews, and performance analysis.
- Govern change management and transport activities through STMS and ChaRM / SAP Cloud ALM.
- Partner with Security/GRC teams to ensure compliance with LGPD, BACEN, and SOX standards.
- Act as the internal counterpart for implementation partners and AMS providers to challenge designs, code quality, and production readiness.
