Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10+ years in software engineering.
- 4+ years leading multiple teams and developing Engineering Managers.
- Direct ownership of DevOps, SRE, platform, or engineering operations at scale.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Experience owning customer-facing production operations or technical support with defined SLAs.
- Proven track record running incident management and on-call for production systems.
- Experience operating in a regulated environment (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, or PCI).
- Demonstrated ability to restructure inherited teams and lead organizational change.
- Broad expertise across quality engineering, infrastructure, corporate IT, and security.
Responsibilities
- Own test strategy, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud platform, and developer environments.
- Set and enforce quality gates and deployment practices.
- Drive improvements in developer productivity, build/deploy reliability, and time to recovery.
- Own corporate IT, identity and access management, and vendor security.
- Serve as Security Officer, managing the information security program, risk assessment, and incident response.
- Lead customer security diligence, questionnaires, and audit activities.
- Manage client data operations, eligibility, and data feed reliability.
- Own Tier 2/3 technical escalations and establish SLAs with Customer Success.
- Oversee incident management, including on-call rotations and postmortem analysis.
- Develop Engineering Managers and Senior Engineers.
