Requirements
- 6+ years of experience managing and automating UNIX/Linux system environments.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or SRE role.
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing infrastructure as code within AWS using Terraform.
- Mastery of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Deep expertise in GitHub and CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS).
- Mastery of observability and monitoring frameworks (Prometheus, Thanos, OpenTelemetry, Grafana).
- Expert proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Perl) and one programming language (Java, Go, Node).
- Strong containerization experience with Docker and Amazon ECS.
- Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Implement and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline.
- Develop internal tooling and automation to improve infrastructure platforms.
- Provide expert DevOps guidance to engineering teams for build automation and deployment workflows.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and lead blameless postmortems.
- Define and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
- Partner with other teams to draft standards and design patterns for infrastructure.
