Requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- At least 3 years of experience working for or with a State Medicaid Agency.
- Experience supporting State Medicaid and other HHS programs, such as TANF, SNAP, or Child Welfare.
- Experience managing projects within large enterprise implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day activities of project teams, including assignments, schedules, and workload control.
- Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures, including project deliverable reviews.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, and Zoom or similar webinar platforms.
- Familiarity with document repositories such as Microsoft SharePoint.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor project plans for client success and growth workstreams.
- Track deliverables and dependencies to ensure commitments and milestones are achieved.
- Identify project interdependencies, conflicts, risks, and potential impacts proactively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts, project team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Develop, review, distribute, and present project status updates and readiness assessment reports.
- Monitor and track project action items, issues, risks, and decisions.
- Facilitate and participate in staff and project team meetings.
- Maintain clear, frequent, and consistent communication across clients, internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
