Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in QA engineering, SDET, or test automation.
- Strong programming proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, pytest).
- Practical experience with API testing including contract, integration, and negative-path testing against REST or GraphQL services.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Daily, deliberate use of AI coding assistants and LLM tooling in development workflows.
- Proficiency with Git and containerized local environments.
- Ability to read and understand application code for test creation.
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation and remote collaboration.
- High level of autonomy and self-direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn the technical aspects of blockchain, smart contracts, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Own the test strategy for internal engineering platforms and client-facing products, covering unit, integration, and end-to-end suites.
- Design, build, and maintain automated UI, API, and data-layer test suites.
- Utilize LLM-assisted tooling to accelerate test authoring, edge case generation, and regression analysis.
- Implement and tune quality gates in CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable feedback loops.
- Automate manual QA processes including release checklists, environment setup, and data generation.
- Reproduce, isolate, and document defects with clear context for engineering resolution.
- Partner with security engineers to integrate regression checks for authentication, authorization, and secrets handling.
- Conduct performance, load, and reliability testing for sensitive data services.
- Define and track quality metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and detection time.
- Participate in release readiness decisions as an informed stakeholder.
