Requirements
- 5 or more years as a platform or infrastructure engineer delivering large-scale systems.
- Proven experience building cloud infrastructure in AWS.
- Proven experience managing configuration and performance of a content delivery/edge network solution (e.g., Fastly, Cloudflare, Amazon CloudFront).
- Proven experience using infrastructure-as-code solutions, preferably Terraform.
- Proven experience operating an orchestration platform with containerized applications (Kubernetes experience is a plus).
- Practical experience with an imperative programming language such as Python or Go.
- Experience with metric, log, and tracing infrastructure (OpenTelemetry or Grafana a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud security solutions like web application firewalls.
- Demonstrated product thinking and systems thinking.
- Ability to self-direct work and partner in developing long-term strategy.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate networking, security, logging, and application orchestration systems.
- Design identity and access management solutions for secure operations.
- Create safe and reliable self-service offerings for resource provisioning.
- Provision infrastructure economically and build tooling for resource management.
- Own reliability and resiliency outcomes for core infrastructure.
- Turn recurring support requests into reusable capabilities.
