Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building reliable, scalable production software in Java or Go.
- Experience working in microservice-based environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and operating production systems.
- Proven ability to improve system reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Experience performing incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including data modeling and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to use observability systems (metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, alerting).
- Experience with common Java or Go testing frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and scaling of backend services that interact with data pipelines and frontend applications.
- Architect AI-based solutions to address revenue forecasting challenges.
- Drive investigation and resolution of complex technical and production issues through root cause analysis.
- Design reusable backend services, data integration capabilities, and developer tooling.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and lead technical design discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards through code reviews and best practices.
