Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (versions 11, 17, and/or 21) and Spring Framework.
- Experience with Java EE technologies and legacy frameworks such as Struts and JSF.
- Strong knowledge of REST architecture and API development.
- Professional experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and/or Oracle 12c+).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker and/or Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud computing, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with messaging technologies (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git, and static code analysis tools.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and evolve system functionalities across backend and frontend applications, with a focus on Java and React.
- Participate in the definition, evaluation, and review of technical solutions, contributing to architectural and implementation decisions.
- Design and develop REST APIs and integrations with internal, governmental, and third-party services.
- Perform code reviews, promote programming best practices, and share technical knowledge with the development team.
- Ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and stability of software deliveries through testing, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Monitor application health through observability platforms, analyzing metrics, logs, and traces.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and static code analysis.
- Support containerized applications and cloud-based architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure.
