Requirements
- 3+ years of insurance experience in a business development or production underwriting role.
- 2+ years of experience working with the independent agent network.
- Expertise in territory management and identifying key retail partners.
- Strong cyber knowledge or willingness to learn quickly.
- Demonstrated success in distribution with an emphasis on growing new clients (Retail or Wholesale).
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and results-oriented mentality.
- Ability to take initiative to solve problems with high energy and urgency.
- Small Commercial insurance experience is preferred.
- Experience in Cyber, Tech E&O, and Professional lines insurance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive awareness of Cowbell Cyber products through the independent agency network.
- Act as a cyber expert to drive new business and cross-sell opportunities for partner agencies.
- Proactively close and onboard new relationships throughout the country.
- Communicate Cowbell’s value proposition to key stakeholders at an executive level.
- Make an immediate impact with currently appointed retail brokers.
- Meet and manage weekly, monthly, and annual activity metrics.
- Collaborate with a team and act as a point of accountability for distribution success.
