Requirements
- Current Java programming experience with a strong understanding of algorithms, complexity, and multi-threading.
- Expertise in Java collections framework and commonly used data structures.
- Proven experience building backend services for front-office trading systems.
- Deep understanding of front-office workflows and electronic trading platforms.
- Experience building or contributing to algorithmic order management or order routing systems.
- Deep understanding of event-driven systems and performance tuning.
- Ability to build low-latency systems measured in microseconds.
- Strong communication skills with experience in trader-facing environments.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to maintain a 6-hour overlap with US Eastern business hours.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust software solutions for equities and FX trading systems using core Java.
- Build high-performance backend services that algorithmically manage and route orders.
- Create thorough test cases to ensure software stability and reliability.
- Collaborate with operations teams regarding building new features and improving existing functionality.
- Work directly with client teams in North America and Poland to develop trading infrastructure.
