Requirements
- Engineering background (frontend developer, engineering degree, or demonstrated design-focused engineering skills).
- Experience working on complex tools such as developer tools, data tools, or B2B SaaS.
- Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing and flow creation.
- Proven track record of improving product UX through refinement.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems and animation libraries.
- Experience using feedback collection tools to incorporate user insights into designs.
- Attention to detail regarding edge cases, loading states, and empty states.
- Ability to partner with engineers to bridge the gap between design and feature architecture.
Responsibilities
- Identify product friction points by observing user sessions via tools like Fullstory.
- Prototype interaction alternatives and refine UX flows rapidly using Figma or code.
- Implement design improvements including transitions and inline guidance to perfect the interface.
- Collaborate with senior engineering staff on feature architecture and refactoring complex forms.
- Conduct usability tests to validate design improvements and onboarding flows.
- Develop reusable interaction patterns to be leveraged by the broader engineering team.
