Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Strong research or industry experience involving mechanical systems, engineering analysis, simulation, or mathematical modeling.
- Strong quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with numerical methods, computational engineering, and quantitative modeling.
- Ability to design original and genuinely challenging engineering problems.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.
- Strong technical writing skills in English.
- Experience using engineering or computational tools such as Python, MATLAB, ANSYS, Abaqus, SolidWorks, or COMSOL is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality technical content within defined deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Design advanced and original mechanical engineering problems for AI training and evaluation.
- Develop rigorous, deterministic problems that have exactly one verifiable correct answer.
- Create complete, accurate, and independently verified solutions for each problem.
- Develop challenges that assess genuine engineering analysis, multi-step reasoning, and problem-solving.
- Work across mechanical engineering domains including mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, dynamics, and mechanical systems.
- Apply engineering judgment to create problems that reflect realistic mechanical engineering scenarios.
- Use computational and engineering tools to validate calculations and solutions.
- Document solution methodologies and reasoning in well-structured technical English.
- Review problems and solutions critically to identify ambiguities or errors.
