Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Approximately 4 years of experience in HR data security, Workday security, or access management.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM security configuration, including domain and role-based administration.
- Workday Security Administration certification (e.g., Workday Pro Security).
- Experience with HR data governance, security controls, and least-privilege practices.
- Proficiency with reporting/data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Ability to independently make security decisions and understand authorization boundaries.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent workflows and governance documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to travel onsite approximately 5% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary Workday security configurator managing domain, role-based, and user security groups.
- Monitor over 100 active Workday security activities, investigate anomalies, and resolve configuration issues.
- Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to enhance security governance, role design, and access management processes.
- Conduct bi-annual user access reviews and lead remediation activities.
- Manage access requests for Workday, Peakon, UKG, HR ODS, and Reporting & Analytics through ServiceNow and SharePoint.
- Support audit activities, coordinate documentation requirements, and track remediation to resolution.
- Maintain governance policies and process documentation to ensure consistent security practices.
