Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or System Engineering with strong AWS exposure.
- 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing Infrastructure, Platform, or System Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and platform engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, security, monitoring, and production operations.
- Experience coordinating team delivery, workload planning, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to mentor engineers and build high-performing teams.
- Experience working in security-focused or regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the daily work of the System Engineering team, ensuring predictable delivery and operational stability.
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate team activities in collaboration with architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and security of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Oversee infrastructure changes implemented using Terraform, Kubernetes, and automation tools.
- Review infrastructure designs, CI/CD pipelines, and operational practices while providing technical guidance.
- Act as the first escalation point for operational and infrastructure-related issues.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvements.
- Balance delivery priorities with security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Mentor team members, support onboarding, and help engineers develop their technical skills.
- Drive continuous improvements in infrastructure, automation, and engineering processes.
