Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Practical knowledge of at least one relational database system (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Ability to engage in discussions regarding software design and architecture.
- Experience implementing the test pyramid (module, integration, system tests).
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability in delivering high-quality work.
- Effective use of security practices.
- Ability to convey technical and non-technical ideas clearly.
- Readiness to learn and expand skill sets as required by ongoing projects.
- Good command of English (written & spoken).
- Availability for occasional evening meetings across Poland and US timezones.
Responsibilities
- Implement backends and their interactions with various data stores and third-party APIs.
- Support reliable databases and APIs for real-time automated decision-making.
- Deploy software using industry-standard tooling like Kubernetes clusters and Lambda functions.
- Investigate and resolve production issues by analyzing code, data, and system behavior.
- Implement robust automated test suites to ensure high quality and low failure rate.
- Write and review technical design documents.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Senior and Staff Engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality code.
