- 2+ years of experience in closing operations, real estate transactions, mortgage operations, or related high-volume environments.
- Experience in title and escrow closing, preferably with multi-state purchase transactions.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage communications via phone, email, SMS, and chat.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Proficiency in utilizing a variety of technologies and workflow tools in a high-volume setting.
- Attention to detail, including the ability to learn and follow county, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to partner with technical teams on product discovery and feedback.
- Willingness to obtain state escrow licensing where required.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service across phone, email, SMS, and chat for customers and transaction partners.
- Manage a real estate closing pipeline in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to ensure smooth, accurate, and on-time closings.
- Build strong relationships with assigned brokerages and agents and participate in client meetings.
- Review multi-state purchase contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Calculate and prepare closing fees, prepare disbursements, and collaborate with lenders to balance Closing Disclosures and loan document packages.
- Identify and explain title issues and guide transaction parties through resolution steps.
- Work cross-functionally with exam, curative, funding, and post-closing teams; contribute feedback to product and engineering teams.
