Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 1 year of work experience utilizing basic financial principles.
- At least 1 year of experience in budget negotiation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and complex formulas.
- Familiarity with clinical research and/or medical terminology.
- Functional knowledge of clinical trials preferred.
- Analytical decision-making skills.
- Project management capabilities.
- Strong negotiation and professional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Interpret protocols from a financial perspective to develop accurate clinical trial budgets.
- Analyze clinical trial protocols to provide detailed counteroffers to Sponsor budgets.
- Negotiate budgets with Sponsors and CROs to achieve favorable financial outcomes.
- Maintain and communicate budget status updates to executive management.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and management to clarify protocol specifics, standard of care, and billable items.
