Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in software development with Java
- Strong system architecture and design skills — proven experience designing scalable, distributed systems and understanding the underlying infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to take complex requirements and turn them into well-structured, scalable technical designs
- Strong experience designing and implementing complex algorithms and software architectures
- Experience working with microservices architecture
- Experience developing large-scale data applications and advanced SQL querying
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI agents) as an integral part of the software development lifecycle
- Technical leadership potential — initiative, ownership, and the ability to drive technical innovation
- Curiosity and a genuine drive to continuously learn and adopt new technologies and approaches
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
Responsibilities
- Design system and service architecture for high-performance, scalable, and reliable software, with a solid understanding of the surrounding infrastructure
- Translate complex and often ambiguous requirements into clear, robust, and scalable technical designs
- Own the end-to-end delivery of complex features and modules — from design through implementation and production
- Work in an AI-native engineering environment: effectively leverage modern coding agents and spec-driven development to accelerate high-quality delivery, and adapt or create solutions using AI tools
- Design and implement complex algorithms
- Provide technical leadership — influence technical decisions, mentor peers, and raise the engineering bar across the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
- Continuously explore, evaluate, and introduce new technologies, tools, and engineering practices
